Dio, who almost wiped every illusion of Dark Crystal, stood in front of his parent with his head lowered. Although these people weren’t exactly his parent, Dio’s memory has already convoluted with the memories of the Dio in this world, so he felt the parental love these people gave.

“I am so sorry!” Dio said as he swung his scythe, killing his parent in front of him. He shuddered as tears gently rolled down his cheeks. Watching his parents fall in their own puddle of blood really messed Dio’s psyche. His heart broke apart from the thought that they could be alive and well somewhere.

Dio roared and immediately swung his scythe once more, decapitating Dark Crystal, who was standing still behind his parent.

“Do you think it would be over as soon as you kill me? No, this is just the beginning of your torture! Your family, friends, lovers, and enemies are already resurrected and now looking for revenge!” Dark Crystal said as she suddenly disappeared.

Dio turned around silently, and sure enough, he saw everyone he killed earlier now standing once again, but with a murderous look on their face. Dark Crystal reappeared once again, and now she stood behind the crowds with a smirk on her face.

This time, however, Dio didn’t hesitate as he swung his scythe around, killing the illusion created from Reality Stone and Mind Stone’s power. But no matter how much he killed, the illusion simply reconstructed itself! The entire area was full of corpses, and Dio that was completely lost in his emotion, couldn’t think clearly of what he was doing.

Dark Crystal then walked to Dio, who was already on his feet due to exhaustion, with a smile on her face. Dark Crystal stood in front of Dio and observed him for a while before she nodded in satisfaction as she saw the empty look in Dio’s eyes.

Dark Crystal then formed dozens of Aether spikes and immediately pierced Dio’s body with it, pushing Dio to the ground. Dark Crystal in front of Dio then disappeared once again before reappearing in the corner. This was her true body, not the illusion that she cast earlier. She obviously didn’t want to get close to Dio in the case that Dio still had a fight left in him.

Now, she was satisfied with the result as she was able to kill Dio herself. She wanted to give Dio the cruellest torment that she could think of. She wanted to see Dio beg her to end it all as she really despised Dio with her entire being.

“It seems this time I overestimated you too much! You are done for. I couldn’t say that I am not disappointed in you!” Dark Crystal said as she stood in front of Dio with a smirk on her face. Although she knew that Dio wasn’t dead just yet, she thought Dio would be too powerless to do anything at the moment anyway.

At the same time, Dio’s empty eyes suddenly flickered, and his lips began to mutter something. Dark Crystal moved closer to listen to what Dio had to say as it was too weak of a voice for her to hear.

“25, 24, 23, …” it turned out Dio was inexplicably counting down to something.

“Is that the countdown to your death? Poor guy, as long as you kneel in front of me, I will let you live another minute! Now, what do you say to that?” Dark Crystal said with a cruel smile on her face. But suddenly, she felt uneasy for some reason, and as if sensing her anxiety, the Mind Stone immediately glowed to calm her down. But then again, the Mind Stone failed to appease her uneasiness.

She looked confused for a second, but then she heard Dio keep counting down, completely ignoring her words earlier. The intense anxiety that she felt made her want to kill Dio immediately. She constantly listened to Dio’s countdown before Dio immediately skipped his countdown from 10 to 1. Obviously, Dark Crystal was confused by Dio’s countdown, so she looked around in anticipation, but nothing happened before feeling the sudden itch and pain on her face!

Dark Crystal then began scratching her face and was horrified as she saw a piece of flesh was torn apart from her face.

“What have you done!” Dark Crystal shouted in horror as she started vomiting blood, but blood wasn’t all that came out of her mouth as one of her organs was also mixed in with the blood that she vomited. Dark Crystal immediately succumbed to fear as her body started collapsing quickly.

She knew that she would still be alive even when her body was destroyed as she could move her consciousness to the Aether, but even so, she wouldn’t be able to do anything afterward! She would still need a ‘container’ in this case, a real body to effectively use the Aether and the other Infinity Stones!

She immediately raised her hands to kill Dio, but she couldn’t do so as her body slumped to the ground weakly. At the same time, Dio immediately whistled to call [Reaper’s Gaze] that was already on the ground. He immediately pierced Dark Crystal’s head with it to hold her down.

The Aether immediately floated off from Dark Crystal’s body, signalling that Dark Crystal’s body had reached its limit. Dio knew that he ought to contain the Aether once more, but he had to calm down as he had the upper hand right now. Dio immediately swapped [Golden Experience] with [White Album] as he needed it to recover his body. At the same time, a creepy figure crawled out of the pile of bodies underground and walked towards Dio’s side.

This creepy figure was, of course, one of Dio’s Stands! It had the power to utilise a virus that could destroy any living tissue in a matter of seconds! It was none other than the [Purple Haze] that Dio had kept from a long time ago. With its ability to send a fatal virus, Dio successfully dealt a fatal blow to Dark Crystal!

Dio, who has already planned all of this, took advantage of the hatred that Dark Crystal had for him.
