The man moved faster than expected and grabbed Lucas by the neck. Lucas struggled and tried to free himself from his grip, but he couldn't. The man started choking him.

"Let me go!" Lucas yelled out.

The man released Lucas and walked away. Lucas fell to the ground and coughed. He was still gasping for air, but his vision was blurry, 'no, this is not the time for this!' He tried to stand up, "hey, fucker!" Lucas yelled at the person who had attacked him.

The man turned around and Lucas saw that it was the same stranger from earlier.

"What did you do to me?" Lucas asked.

The man's face looked angry and he replied, "nothing. But I know you better than you think."

"What do you mean?" Lucas asked.

The stranger looked at Lucas and said, "you have been following me since yesterday."

"Excuse me? Why the fuck would I follow you?" Lucas growled, then saw a shiny purple diamond's corner in the man's pocket, 'he got it!' Lucas flinched.

"I'm afraid, but I will need that thing that is inside your pocket right now," Lucas said.

"No," the man said. "I won't give it to you."

Lucas saw a dagger in the man's other hand and said, "you think this dagger of yours will scare me?"

The man laughed and said, "how wrong you are, Lucas. You're just a kid with nothing to offer. Do you really think a teenager is going to make the difference between life and death? If you want, try me."

"And what if I do?" Lucas asked.

"Then I'll kill you," the man said. "But whatever you do, just remember that you will die before me."

The man waved his hand and a whirlwind appeared in front of him. Lucas threw his knife and it hit the whirlwind and stuck on to it. The whirlwind disappeared and Lucas jumped towards the man.

"Crap!" the man yelled out.

Lucas grabbed the man's wrist and pulled it towards himself. Then he stabbed his dagger into his arm and took the gem out. The man fell on the ground. Lucas stood up and looked at his victim, "what's the matter? Can't take a little stab wound?"

The man got up and looked at Lucas. He had tears in his eyes and looked hurt.

"Oh, really?" Lucas said. "I'm sorry if it hurts, but I don't have much time. I have to go."

Lucas turned away and started running away from him. He ran past the man and saw Kali and Haya fighting against someone. When he got closer, he saw a man in a black robe holding a long sword. They were struggling and Lucas quickly jumped in between them.

"What the hell is going on here!" Lucas yelled.

The man turned around and raised his sword. Lucas blocked the attack with his dagger and the blade broke. He grabbed the man's wrist and pulled him towards himself. Then he stabbed him in the stomach and he fell on the ground.

"What the fuck was that for?" Haya yelled.

"We need to tet away from them!" Lucas yelled back.

"Lucas, get out of here!" Kali shouted.

Lucas got up and looked at Kali and Haya who were trying to fight two men. One was wearing a hood and the other one had a beard.

"What are we going to do?" Kali asked.

"We have to run away!" Lucas replied.

"Where?" Haya asked.

"There's no other way," Lucas answered.

"Come on!" Kali exclaimed.

Throught grittet teeth and clenched jaw, struggling Lucas called out for Renexa.

A white phoenix appeared before him and he flew high above the trees. The phoenix circled once around and landed in front of Lucas.

"Hurry up!" Lucas yelled.

The phoenix opened its wings, "attack!" Lucas ordered.

The phoenix spread its wings and started flying towards the men.

"Don't worry," Lucas said to Kali and Haya. "I'll take care of things. Just run."

But Kali and Haya had no intention on leaving Lucas alone here, "you're not my boss!" Kali shouted as she drew her sword.

The phoenix approached the men and they were startled by its appearance. The phoenix spread its wings and started attacking them with fireballs. One of the men was burned badly and fell to the ground screaming in pain.

"system, the dragon form! Now!" Kali ordered the system.

Hearing those words, Lucas was forced to look at her, and was startled how her soft-white skin was suddenly turning scaly. She grew bigger and longer and became much more aggressive. Her tail was longer and sharper. Her mouth became bigger and fanged.

"Kali turned into a dragon again...." Lucas gasped.

"Forget about me," Kali said as she lunged at the men with her claws out.

One of the men managed to dodge Kali's attack, but the other one was trapped by her. Kali bit his neck and ripped it off. Lucas could hear the man's bones breaking and his screams got louder and louder. Kali used her claws to rip his intestines out and throw them on the ground.

The man fell on his knees and screamed for help. Kali licked the blood on her lips and walked away. She turned around and saw that Lucas was looking at her with his mouth wide open.

"What's wrong?" Kali asked.

"Nothing," Lucas replied. "You're amazing."

"Thank you," Kali smiled.

Lucas turned back to see Kali was gone. He looked at the dead men and saw that Kali had killed them both.

"She is amazing!" Lucas thought to himself.

Lucas was amazed by the power Kali possessed. She was able to control it and it didn't seem to affect her at all. He wondered if Kali could transform herself into a dragon permanently and it seemed that she was also capable of doing so.

"Lucas! Over here!" Kali yelled.

"Right here!" Lucas shouted back.

"It looks like we're safe!" Kali replied.
